At the 1770 Eco Camp, we’ve created two distinctive camping realms that are designed for travellers who love the outdoors and are seeking a unique, nature-immersive escape.
Perched high above the surrounding landscape, GRASS TREES is our exclusive mountain-top sanctuary. Here, glamping tents and elevated camp sites capture sweeping views from sunrise to sunset, stretching across the Agnes coastline and the glistening 1770 Estuary. Immersed in a forest of ancient Grass Trees and Cycads, its a magical place to camp, unwind, and experience sunrises that feel cinematic, evenings bathed in amber light from our iconic sunsets, and a sense of stillness found only at altitude.
Perched at the highest point of our campground is our signature magnesium pool - a sculptural, custom-built oasis seamlessly integrated into the surrounding granite boulders. It’s an unforgettable place to unwind after a day of adventure. All of our guests are welcome (outside private event bookings), with access from the lower Eco Camp via a scenic 400m bush track or a quick 1-minute drive up our private road.
The 1770 Eco Camp grounds below offer a more secluded, earthy feel and are designed to cater to larger vans and buses or large group bookings. Designed using permaculture principles, the lower camp has been designed to create a private bush retreat where natural forest blends effortlessly with curated gardens and flourishing fruit trees. It’s the perfect base to reconnect, slow down, and prepare for your next adventure—whether that’s exploring our beautiful coastline, the nearby Great Barrier Reef, 1770 estuary and nearby river systems, or the untouched hinterland.

Our Double Eco Glamping Tents are perfect for a couple or 2 people who don't require the extra space of a family tent. All tents come with a pillow top queen bed, USB 12v power & light, fan, sheets, pillows & a blanket. BYO towels & Pets outside only at the Eco Camp - no pets allowed at Grass Trees.

Unpowered
SITES
Our Unpowered Camp Sites are not like your typical Caravan Park, as you have much more space between each site, with a stunning private bush setting and outlook. We have landscaped our Eco Camp to ensure each site has a unique natural vegetation surrounding and easy access to all of our facilities. Our sites also have timber tables and chairs located through the grounds providing a great dining or entertaining space. Our Camp Sites are a minimum of 8m x 6m in size and are unpowered.
Powered
SITES
All of our Powered Sites have been landscaped to provide generous space between you and your neighbour, with 240v power available conveniently nearby. With easy access to the amenities block and camp kitchen these powered sites are an an average of 8m x 6m in size. Drinking water is available at the Camp Kitchen however it is not available at each site so please fill your tanks prior to arrival.
